Plan, coordinate, and evaluate a comprehensive employee wellness program that addresses an organization's goals, objectives and key health risk areas. Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, promotion and delivery of the wellness program.

2. Partner with internal and external resources to develop tools and resources to improve the health of employees.

3. Increase engagement and participation through targeted marketing/promotion and interventions.

4. Integrate wellness focus and messaging with other employee benefits, events and programs.

5. Provide routine and on-demand management reporting based on the identified goals and objectives.

6. Analyze health demographics to determine targeted health management programs.

7. Assess effectiveness of new and current health education interventions and enhance delivery methods to reach all segments of the population with greater impact on outcome results.

8. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of all data collected during health risk assessments and health improvement programs.

GLOBAL HEAD OF WELLNESS

Global Head of Wellness responsible for a variety of health and wellness issues including global health strategy and policy, employee health engagement and resiliency, and onsite clinic oversight. The Global Head of Wellness works as part of the Global Benefits team, to identify and develop the long-term vision for wellness, create an integrated wellness-benefits strategy, and execute programs aimed at changing mid- and high-risk behaviors. This individual will work to position wellness as part of a larger strategy to save on medical costs over time, and will contribute innovative ideas for achieving this desired result.

From those responsibilities, the following duties emerge:

· Providing leadership on the company's global health and wellness strategy, and translation of strategy into operational execution and return on investment.

· Developing data-driven, leading-edge, cost-effective strategies to increase employees' engagement in their health - in order to build a resilient and productive workforce - and designing, executing and sourcing relevant as well as culturally-appropriate initiatives and programs to drive strategy.

· Overseeing all wellness program delivery, including management of on- and off-site vendors and program staff. Establishing strategic milestones and leading efforts to meet key deliverables and objectives as they relate to those programs.

· Providing strategic leadership for the company's onsite health clinics, which includes oversight of the third-party vendor(s) to ensure qualified clinical staffing and aptitude, patient advocacy, operational effectiveness, and planning for growth.

· Partnering internally with Professional Development and externally with industry leaders in the evaluation of evidence-based metrics that optimizes the company's spending in healthcare along with desired quality and clinical outcomes.

· Collaborating with internal and external partners in evaluating innovative health and wellness programs and solutions that provide value to company employees; benchmarking and staying current with "best of" industry thinking.

· Representing the company in executive briefing meetings with other organizations as well as internal and external councils that share information and strategize on global health risk prevention.

· Creating reporting strategy and dashboards that demonstrate health improvement and employee engagement outcomes, and driving necessary processes to gather relevant data and metrics. Includes leveraging data to analyze needs and requirements, and evaluating outcomes.

· Managing the global wellness budget and ensuring cost-conscious methods are selected to drive wellness objectives.

· Ensuring employee satisfaction through regular surveys and focus groups, and working with internal and external program delivery partners to integrate quality control measures and emphasis on high quality customer service.

· Providing leadership and input on wellness marketing framework, including special program launches and ongoing communications, and liaising with Special Events and Marketing teams to drive health promotion events.

· Serving as global thought leader for wellness. Localizing offerings as regionally appropriate.

* Development and implementation of U.S. Global Wellness Strategy & websites

* Development and implementation of U.S. Health Improvement Model and associated communications

* Development and implementation of U.S. Financial Wellness Strategy and communications

* Monitor global wellness best practices and share with key stakeholders (Global Task Force and U.S. Benefits team) and develop metrics and measure the performance of the programs

* Active participation is several external health and wellness organizations

* Ongoing vendor management of several wellness providers

* Role of states in establishing health insurance exchanges intended to provide a resource “where individuals and small businesses can compare and purchase health insurance online at competitive prices.”

* Steps employers can take now to avoid penalties if too many employees reject the employer's health insurance coverage in favor of insurance purchased on the exchanges.

* Gaining control over the staggering costs of fraud, waste, and abuse.


This position plays a primary role in the design, implementation, and execution of Care Management programs offered to employees and their families provided by the Employee Medical Plan. This position is fully responsible for the day to day execution and management of business operations for disease specific support programs and case management.

-Communicates benefits information corporate-wide
-Creates processes and policies to maintain and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
-Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Benefits
-Ensures business needs are being met
-Manages external provider relations
-Manages large-scale roll-outs of new programs affecting all associates globally
-Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
-Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
-Analyzes a wide variety of global benefits programs and proposes possible programs to senior leadership
-Assists senior leadership in developing government and public affairs strategies
-Communicates benefits information corporate-wide
-Creates processes and policies to maintain and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
-Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Benefits


Published researcher who can explain medical research to the lay public. Able to explain topics from hormonal cascades and oxidative damage to C-reactive protein and homocysteine in a compelling, must-read style. Primary research interests on nutraceuticals and hormone replacement for the prevention and treatment of disease ranging from heart disease, diabetes, endothelial health, obesity, and depression. Incorporates review of clinical data, interviews with researchers, as well as extensive research.
