Ascension of Jesus ChristThe Transfiguration of Jesus Christ Beatitudes Sermon on the Mount of Jesus Christ Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God
Oh, that's neat! I can certainly relate to the above theory, if you will. I've been a seeker for what seems a millennium. Most curious, however, in the midst of my seeking the great truth(s) of Reality, I rarely feel that I have managed much in terms of discovery. On the other hand, after I've long moved on into other territories, I look back sometimes and can actually *see* where I have been--and what was there, all along!

As for Heaven, well it is a Mystery that we each probably experience in our own way--if we do at all. I've attended some Near-Death conferences, where I listen to the most ordinary people talk about something incredible. In my own experience, there's the mystery of a great crystal city from whence I came. (The crystal city conceptualization has popped up periodically with different spiritual groups, but it popped up with me all by itself.)

I sometimes wonder about this in terms of the Imaginal Realm--a realm or dimension that is natural to the universe existing side-by-side with our physical dimension of being, where we are at now. Sometimes I ponder whether our true home is this Imaginal Realm, where our soul more naturally dwells, and upon occasion we inject into the physical dimension for varied reasons (individually or collectively).

One thing in which I do NOT engage is the idea that in order to be virtuous we need a carrot before our nose. Virtue is simply for the sake of virtue, something that we really want to do for its own sake.

Respectfully,
--Beatrix
