One possible reply to Mike's second question (though this is simply human speculation in human language that pretends to deal with something that is really beyond our knowing):

It's the thimble theory. In heaven, we'll be filled to our capacity. Our capacity, of course, is determined by the kind of curious (or incurious) life we've led "on earth." Those of us who have a whole barrelful of questions will have our barrel filled. Those of us who have a thimbleful of questions will have their thimbles filled. We each get 100% of "our needs."

True? Who knows? But it's a theory that I take some comfort in, because I have A LOT OF QUESTIONS.
